At the end of November 2017, the Geelong Heritage Centre celebrated its 100,000th visitor since opening as part of the impressive Geelong Library & Heritage Centre building two years ago.

The Geelong Heritage Centre holds valuable resources to assist visitors with their interests and research into genealogy and local history with records including newspapers, maps, plans, paintings and photographs.

The 100,000th visitor was among one of the students from St Mary's Primary School who visited on the 29th of November as part of an excursion. To celebrate the occasion, the Heritage Centre presented the students with a selection of significant Australian History books.

Congratulations to the Heritage Centre on this significant milestone!
