PROV is currently reviewing the PROS 19/05 S1 Digitisation Specification. This is in line with the continuous review program of the Standards Framework, and with the release of the new Create, Capture and Control Standard.

The Create, Capture and Control Standard relates to all Victorian Government agencies, providing mandatory requirements around managing the creation and capture, preservation and control of the records that agencies create.

The Digitisation Specification forms part of the materials released under this Standard and outlines mandatory requirements that need to be met when planning to digitise records and treat the digitised version as the official record.

An initial round of internal consultation has been completed and we are now seeking stakeholder feedback on this Specification.

If you would like to provide any comments on the revised Specification, please email Alison McNulty, Senior Manager of Standards and Policy - alison.mcnulty@prov.vic.gov.au

Feedback is due by Friday 14 March 2025.
