The Public Records Advisory Council is seeking new members

The Public Records Advisory Council (PRAC) is a Victorian Government specialist advisory body on matters relating to Victoria's public records law. Council members, including the President, are appointed by the Hon. Gabrielle Williams MP in her capacity as Minister for Government Services. Membership of the Public Records Advisory Council is currently on an honorary (unpaid) basis.

Candidates for the Council member roles will have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:

Management of Records
Historical Research
Genealogical Research
Public administration
Integrity
First Nations data Sovereignty
Legal Management
Cyber Security
Digital Information Management
Privacy and Data Protection
Local government
Business administration
