Bound volumes consisting of marriage certificate counterparts. Each certificate contains the following information:
    - District
    - Number in Register
    - Denomination
    - When and where married
    - Name and Surname of each party
    - Conjugal conditions and date of decease of former spouse, or date of divorce (if applicable)

    - Age of each party
    - Residence of each party
    - Parent's names of each party (together with father's occupation and mother's maiden name.)

Each certificate of Marriage was completed in triplicate:
1st copy was given to the parties to the Marriage,
2nd copy was sent to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (where it was registered,)
3rd copy (of which this series consists) was retained in volume the certificates are in chronological order although they may cover a number of districts.
volumes have been arranged according to denomination and then in rough chronological order (by the date of the first certificate in each volume.) Whilst this arrangement is far from satisfactory for retrieval purposes, a chronological or alphabetical is impossible due to the overlap in dates and districts.
