  • How to use the Records
    ** Access Conditions **

    These records have been transferred to the Public Record Office Victoria under the condition that requests for access will be referred to the Clerk of the Legislative Council/Assembly for determination in each case. Applications should be made to the above officers and written approval must be presented at the Public Record Office Victoria reading rooms before the records will be made available for public inspection.

    Consult the Consignment Details to obtain the required unit number.

  • Function / Content
    This series provides a record of the receipt and issue of various publications by the Legislative Council, including Standing Orders, Minutes of Proceedings, Consolidated Statutes.

    This series records the number of bound or unbound volumes in stock, or the number received by the Council. It also the number of copies of particular publications given out, either to Members or the government departments, and to whom they were sent.

    This series was previously registered with the title Minutes of Proceedings of Second Session of Council.
