  • How to use the Records
    Researchers can also use VPRS 2148 Microfilm Copy of the Letter Book - Letters Outwards. It can be viewed in PROV's North Melbourne Reading Room.

  • Function / Content
    This series contains copies of outwards correspondence for the Melbourne Court of Petty Sessions, the County of Bourke Court of Petty Sessions, Magistrates, Justices of the Peace and the City Police Office. Letters concern cases heard by the Court and general administration of the Courts in the colony.
