  • Function / Content
    The booklets were approved by the Governor-In-Council for publication and distribution between Melbourne Metropolitan Tramways Board [MMTB] staff for updates on the correct tolls, fares and charges to be implemented in the Victorian tramways system. Each booklet contains the various routes, fares and charges applicable to those routes. Some contain original signatures for approval of the by-law.

    Each time the by-laws were updated, the publication was given a consecutive number: eg. By-Law No.6.
