  • Function / Content
    This series consisted of alphabetically arranged volumes of index to Railway Commissioners Directions. The information recorded included:

    - Memo number, Annual Single Number
    - Precis of the subject of the memo issued.

    Copies of some memoranda were filed in VPRS 10214 Policy Files, Commissioners Special Office, Single Number System

  • Recordkeeping System
    Each volume covers a period of time. Entries within the volumes were made under alphabetical sections, e.g. Unemployment Relief Fund under 'U' and Workers Compensation under 'W'.
