Function / Content
This series contains cuttings from Melbourne metropolitan newspapers and provincial newspapers pasted into volumes. The cuttings concern railway works and extensions throughout Victoria.
VPRS 1147 was reserialised in 2001 as part of the ARAD Project. The former units 2 and 3 have been reserialised as VPRS 8335/P2 units 1 and 2.
Recordkeeping System
Cuttings are arranged in chronological order with the name and date of the newspaper cited beside the cutting. An alphabetical index within the volume gives the subject of each cutting and the page upon which it appears.
