How to use the Records

Function / Content
This record is a weekly summary of the penal establishment. Information includes total numbers of prisoners; where the prisoner was received from, eg. Pentridge, Water Police, other stations; how the prisoner was discharged, eg remission, time served, transfer, death; nature of the sentence such as hard labour or employed on roads; numbers of prisoners presently sick; and the warders establishment figures.
